Born in Burnet, Texas, Luke Pell grew up in a tight-knit, Christian family on a small cattle ranch. As a teenager, Luke learned the value of hard work when he spent most of his time working with a local horse trainer, breaking and training the horses. Luke loved riding and training, and seriously considered a career in the saddle.
Always very athletic, Luke played several sports, but it was football that earned him a scholarship to West Point Military Academy, where he played for the U.S. Army team for his entire college career.Upon his graduation, he assumed his commission in the Army and quickly deployed to Afghanistan. Always a lover of music, he made sure that his guitar went with him. When he wasn't facing combat situations, Luke found solace playing his guitar and singing with other soldiers.
After rising to the rank of Captain, Luke decided to end his time in the military. Although he was successful in the corporate world, Luke's passion for music pushed him to take a chance and move to Nashville. He began performing and honing his skills as a song writer, collaborating with such names as Brandon Kinney, Cole Swindell, and many others.
When the opportunity arose, Luke agreed to be on a season of ABC's reality show, The Bachelorette. While he didn't receive the final rose, the nation had already fallen in love with Luke Pell. Since then, Luke has been recording his music and touring throughout the country.
Luke has graced the stage at CMA Fest in Nashville, opened for Dan + Shay, and is continuing to wow the crowds everywhere he plays.
